A little over 6 years ago I was introduced to the Nichiren Buddhist organization Soka Gakkai International and chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. When I lived in New Orleans I was first invited to come to a meeting by a member of my Reiki community.

These experiences led him to become a practicing Buddhist in 1971. In March 1974, Causton moved with Mitsuko to London. In 1975, the SGI-UK was officially founded and Causton became its first chairman.
